Creamy Pork, Carrot & Potato Provolone Skillet

Serves: 4
Style: Creamy, savory, comfort-forward 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork

  • 3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • 1 medium onion, sliced

  • 1½ cups provolone cheese, shredded

  • 1 cup milk or light cream

  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • Salt & black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add onion and carrots; cook 4–5 minutes until softened.

  3. Add ground pork, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Brown fully.

  4. Stir in potatoes and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer.

  5. Cover and cook 15–18 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.

  6. Reduce heat to low, stir in provolone until melted and creamy.

  7. Serve hot.
