1. What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how we handle personal information we collect when you use our website or services, such as ordering Wisconsin-sourced food products. We use this information to provide and improve our services, manage your account, and fulfill your orders. We may share some information with service providers, but only as needed to run our business, as explained below.

2.1 Information You Provide to Us Voluntarily.

We receive and store information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you register for a Tend and Table account, sign up for a subscription, participate in any interactive features of the Sites, subscribe to an email list, participate in a survey, contest, promotion or event, order or purchase (either for yourself or for another person) meal ingredients or other products made available through the Sites (collectively, the “Products”), apply for a job, communicate with us via third party social media sites, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. Certain information may be required to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features. The types of information we may collect from you include (but are not necessarily limited to):

(a) Account information, such as your name, email address, password, postal address, phone number, subscription, delivery any other information you choose to provide; (b) Dietary information, such as your preferences and restrictions, which we process with your consent when you choose to provide it to us; (c) Transaction information, such as information about the Products you purchase, shipping and delivery information and information related to returns, refunds and cancellations. We may also collect and store limited payment information from you, such as payment card type and expiration date and the last four digits of your payment card number; however, we do not collect or store full payment card numbers and all transactions are processed by our third party payment processors; (d) Information about others, such as the names and email addresses of gift recipients when you purchase gifts through the Sites or invite friends or family to try the Sites or Products; and (e) Other information you choose to provide, such as when you participate in a survey, contest, promotion or interactive area of the Sites or when you request customer support

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically.

When you access or use the Sites, the types of information we may automatically collect about you include:

2.4 Information Collected for SMS Communications.

When you sign up for our SMS/text messaging service, we collect your phone number and related data to provide updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, or abandoned cart reminders). Tend and Table uses cookies or plugins to track items you add to your shopping cart, including when you abandon your cart, to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS. Participation in our SMS program is voluntary, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase. We do not share text messaging originator opt-in data or consent with non-affiliated third parties. 3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to or from us over the Internet. In particular, email sent to or from the Sites may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email. Additionally, unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.

We intend to retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or a related and compatible purpose consistent with the average consumer’s expectation, and to comply with applicable laws and regulations. We consider the following criteria when determining how long to retain personal information: why we collected the personal information; the nature of the personal information; the sensitivity of the personal information; our legal obligations related to the personal information, and risks associated with retaining the personal information.

You can choose not to share certain information, but this may limit your ability to use some features.

  • Deactivate Your Account: Email help@tendandtable.com to deactivate your account. We may keep some information as required by law.
  • Cookies: Set your browser to block or delete cookies, but this may affect how our site works.
  • Marketing Communications: Opt out of emails or texts by following the unsubscribe instructions in our messages or contacting us. 9. Your Privacy Rights

As a Wisconsin resident, you have rights under state and federal laws, including:

  • Right to Delete: You can request we delete certain information.
  • Right to Correct: You can ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Right to Opt Out: You can opt out of us sharing your information for targeted advertising.

To make a request, email us at  help@tendandtable.com. We’ll verify your identity to process your request. You can make these requests twice per year. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights, but we may not always be able to fulfill requests due to legal or other limitations.

You can designate an authorized agent to make requests for you, but they must provide proof of your permission or power of attorney. If you disagree with our response to a request, you can appeal by emailing us at  help@tendandtable.com, stating it’s an “Appeal” and describing your original request.
